Due to our fun and games with our unit of inquiry and early dismissal today, we have moved our spelling assessment to Sunday.
Also on Sunday, we will be revising for our end of unit 2 assessment in maths. The actual assessment will be on Monday. Thanks for your understanding. Grade Four had a very successful water provocation activity this morning. In small teams, the children were able to either watch, support or take part in the water activity. We were very impressed by the children's self management skills throughout; They all behaved excellently and had a lot of fun! After the activity, we all reflected upon the task. We thought about different functions and purposes of water and how we had a shared responsibility to save this finite resource. To continue reflecting upon responsibility, we watched the first section of a film showing a young boy collecting and using water. Silence spread around the room as we were shocked into thinking about how lucky we were to have water so easily accessible to us.
Dear Parents,
We have spent the last four days creating our summative assessments for our unit on Migration. The children have done incredibly! We have both been very impressed by the creativity and focus that each child has shown. The final results are amazing! We will be sharing photographs of their work soon but please feel free to take a walk outside of our classrooms and take a look for yourself. We are VERY proud of our Grade Four students. Well done everyone!!! ![]() Dear Parents, Please find attached the G4A and G4B timetables. They are essentially the same as the beginning of the year but there have been a few alterations. Enjoy reading! ![]()

Dear All,
Please could you ensure that your child brings a fully charged computer to school each day. This is particularly important this week as we are researching and creating historical migration posters. Thanks for your cooperation. Grade 4 A and B are looking for a parent to help organise class/grade events and to support communication between home and school.
If you think that you would like to help, please contact Mr Rory or Miss Laura as soon as possible! If there are more than one applicant, names will be chosen for each class at random. We look forward to hearing from you! |
