Dear G4 Parents,
This week, we have been inquiring about a person who has stood up for their rights or who have denied rights in some way. Each student decided upon their person of focus independently to allow them to research into an area which interests them.
There are two parts to our End of Unit Summative Assessment.
1) Write a biography - We will be looking at key features, type of language and how to write a biography.
2) Communicate their knowledge and understanding through an oral presentation - We will be looking at body language, use of voice and using media to support and enhance presentations.
Please encourage your child to continue their inquiries at home by collecting facts (written in their own words) , gathering pictures, reading from a variety of sources, writing their own opinion about what they have found out and reflecting upon the information that they read (What does this show us about them?).
