International Day is quickly approaching. There are a lot of exciting things planned to showcase the diversity we have here at GIS.
One of the new additions we have for this year will be a passport the students will take around with them while touring the International Fair and visiting the different booths. This is where we need your help!
Please bring in
The idea is to have parents at the booths "stamp" the passport by initialing the country. Once students have collected 10 stamps, they can then visit a booth to receive a gift. We hope this will encourage the students to visit as many booths as possible while creating a memento from this year's International Day.
Also, please make a note that there will be no hot food served on International Day (12th Feb.) So a packed lunch should be provided instead.
Once again thank you for your support in making this a truly memorable event for the whole school community.

Please bring in
- a passport sized photo sometime during the week before International Day
- school id card and lanyard so the passport can be hung from their lanyard leaving hands free to sample goodies from around the world!
