Best wishes, G4 Team. ![]() Dear G4 Parents, We have reached the end of our Unit and the students will now be showing their understanding of the central idea: Language use reflects social and cultural contexts. Each class has been working on creating an imaginary country. Their enthusiasm and focus throughout the topic has been amazing!! We are so proud of them! Each class will be opening their created countries to visitors. G4B will be visiting G4A on Thursday 14th May. G4A will be visiting G4B on Sunday 17th May. We really hope that you will be able to come and take a short 'vacation' with us on Monday 18th May from 8:00 - 8:45. Both countries will welcome family to experience and explore their newly created cultures. We hope to see you soon! Dear GIS Families,
Our school spirit is heading for a new level! We are proud to introduce to you four amazing t-shirts for you and your family. In anticipation of our Spring Spirit Week, our school’s World Scholar’s Cup team is having a house t-shirt fundraiser. All students can now purchase an official house t-shirt. This shirt will tell all of Dubai how proud you are to be a Blue Dragon, Red Raptor, Yellow Python, or Green Mamba. If interested, please complete the order form sent home with your child and return it with payment to your child’s homeroom teacher. It is that easy. If you are interested in seeing shirt sizes before ordering, you can visit our t-shirt table in the reception area each morning before school and after school. Don’t miss this great opportunity. All order forms are due Thursday, May 14th. Thank you for your support. Dear G4 Parents,

G4 Teachers A big thank you to Miss Amanda who has continued working in G4A this week. Another big thank you to Mr Jeff who is overseeing the Level One ELL Students. Mr Rory's Doctor has recommended that he stays off for another week. The pneumonia is still affecting him severely and he continues to struggle with breathing and exhaustion. Thank you for your understanding through Mr Rory's absence. I can assure you that there is a very strong team in G4 and we continue to deliver a high standard and creative curriculum for your children. I hope everyone has a good and restful weekend. |
